Meet Dr. Jonathan Lazar
Dr. Jonathan Lazar has spent his career in both public and private dental healthcare, with a focus on making treatment comfortable and affordable through patient-centered care. As the former clinical manager of a large multidisciplinary dental facility in Rockland County, he gained extensive experience that inspired him to launch Genesis Dental.
Dr. Lazar graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he received the Anthony R. Volpe Award for Outstanding Clinician in Periodontics. He completed his residency at VA Harbor Healthcare’s Brooklyn campus and later served as a clinical management consultant for The Center of Discovery.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Society, and Essex County Dental Society, and participates in the Passaic Park Dental Study Club with a focus on implant dentistry. Born and raised in Passaic, New Jersey, Dr. Lazar lives in northern New Jersey with his wife and children and remains active in his local community.
